The latest Apple Watch Series, released in 2025, boasts an innovative hypertension monitoring feature. After collecting data, the watch tracks blood pressure levels and issues a notification if they rise. This new feature is primarily designed to ensure that users can seek medical attention in a timely manner.

The Sleep Score service has also been updated. It is now much easier to understand the data shown in the morning, as a progressive scale from 0 to 100 is used.

The peak brightness of the new model has also been increased to a maximum of 3,000 nits, compared to 2,000 nits in the previous generation. Now there are absolutely no issues viewing information on the display, even if the user is on a beach or at a ski resort.

Battery life has also improved. With normal use, the watch now lasts up to 26 hours without recharging, compared to 18 hours in the previous model. Charging has become faster as well: just 15 minutes is enough to gain an additional 8 hours of battery life.

The design and case sizes (42 mm and 46 mm) remain unchanged, which will appeal to users who already own multiple bands from the Series 10. However, for Series 11 the manufacturer offers a new color palette for bands, including purple, neon yellow, forest green, and others.

At the same time, the protective display glass has become even more durable. In the new model, it is coated with ceramic, which provides significantly better protection against scratches and minor mechanical damage. According to the manufacturer, the new glass is twice as effective as that used in the previous generation.

Despite the fact that the processor has not changed, the overall performance of the new model has improved. The manufacturer enhanced system optimization, so the watch operates faster, even when interacting with AI. Apple also claims that GPS performance has improved significantly compared to the previous version, especially in urban environments with high-rise buildings and in dense forests.

Alongside the 11th generation of smartwatches, the new watchOS 26 operating system was released. It retains the most important features of the previous version: the watch responds instantly to gestures and wrist movements, allowing users to silence alarms, dismiss messages, or reject incoming calls. Thanks to AI, a new service called Workout Buddy has been introduced, providing personalized workout recommendations and even offering motivational coaching.

Another standout feature of the new generation of Apple watches is the 5G modem, whereas previous versions supported only 4G.
