In 2023, Apple introduced a worthy model of the Pro 14 laptop with an updated processor, providing exceptional power, autonomy, and image quality.

Technical Specifications

The M2 Pro chipset features a 12-core CPU and a 9-core GPU. Plus, it has an AI accelerator Neural Engine, making the device extremely powerful, capable of processing and editing about a thousand images simultaneously.

The laptop comes with 16 GB of RAM onboard. The storage can be chosen based on personal preferences from 512 GB to 8 TB.

Design and Features

The model remains unchanged in terms of external dimensions compared to the 2021 versions. The sturdy aluminum chassis remains noticeable. The color scheme remains the same: silver and space gray. 

There is an HDMI port, even with the updated version 2.1, allowing for connection to 4K displays. The Thunderbolt port is retained. Overall, the laptop can simultaneously connect to 2 external displays. There are also 3 USB-C 4.0 ports, MagSafe, a headphone jack, and 6 speakers. Camera, Input Device

The webcam has a resolution of 1080p. Thanks to optimization and the AI accelerator of the processor, the image quality has improved significantly compared to the predecessors on the M1 Pro.

No changes were made to the keyboard and trackpad compared to predecessors. However, no changes are currently needed, as the quality of the input devices remains high.

Display

The screen resolution is at its highest level at 3024x1964 pixels. Thanks to the 120 Hz refresh rate, the picture quality is excellent, with all movements and animations displayed with maximum smoothness. The automatic HDR function remains, for example, if HDR is enabled on YouTube, the brightness on the Pro 14 monitor will automatically increase.
