Apple doesn't stop at what has been achieved, and soon after the introduction of the M1 processor, the chipset is almost immediately upgraded to the M2 version. As a result, the manufacturer presents a powerful, productive laptop PRO 13.

Technical Specifications

The updated M2 chipset is 18% more powerful than its predecessor. The 10-Core graphics core also didn't disappoint and shows improvements at the level of 35%. Speaking of gadgets on Intel, performance has improved 6 times. This confirms that a device with such characteristics works much more efficiently and faster than laptops on M1.

In addition to the updated chipset, the PRO 13 received 8GB (expandable to 24GB) LPDDR5 memory. The distinguishing feature of this memory format is increased bandwidth - 6,400 Mbps and reduced energy consumption.

The laptop has a decent 58.2 Wh battery, which guarantees up to 20 hours of autonomous work.

There is a necessary amount of interfaces: fingerprint scanner, USB-C, USB 4.0 (2 pcs), Thunderbolt Display Port Stereo Jack (3.5mm), and also an ambient light sensor.

Display and Camera

The laptop has a 13-inch diagonal and a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a glossy finish. The Retina display provides a detailed picture, maximally realistic, with deep black color. Thanks to the implemented True Tone technology, an optimal white balance has been achieved, which automatically adjusts to the color gamut of the surrounding environment. The device has excellent viewing angles, which ensures excellent readability outdoors.

The laptop features a HD 720p selfie camera with an advanced processor for video signal processing. It has a Magic Keyboard with backlighting. The keys operate quietly. Also, there is a Touch Bar panel where the most essential keys are located. For security purposes in purchases and system login, Touch ID authentication is provided. The company has not deviated from the gold standard and has retained the large glass trackpad that was well-received by consumers in previous models.
