The battery capacity is 100 Wh. The manufacturer promises up to 24 hours of battery life, whereas the predecessor had only 22 hours.
Design
Compared to its predecessor, the gadget’s body has not changed. It remains sturdy, with fans that can be cleaned. Made from 100% recycled aluminum. Color options: silver and black.
The sides feature 3 USB-C ports supporting Thunderbolt 5. Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E are supported. There is an SD card reader.
The keyboard is exactly the same as the predecessor’s, with a comfortable trackpad.

Cameras
The front camera is 12 MP with desktop view support. However, it is not recommended for photos since the resolution is only 1440 x 900, and video maxes out at 1080p. FaceID is not supported.
Display
The device’s screen diagonal is 16.2 inches. It has a resolution of 3456 x 2234 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display features a nano-texture coating option, which significantly reduces glare, making it comfortable to work even under bright artificial lighting without causing eye strain.
The peak brightness reaches 1600 nits, and under natural lighting, about 1000 nits. Overall, the display provides accurate color reproduction, which will especially appeal to photographers and other creative professionals.
On the new processor, Apple Intelligence works faster. Several useful features have appeared, such as “Writing Tools,” including text checking with an option to select the text’s tone.
