Last October, the company introduced an updated version of the MacBook PRO 16. The main highlight of the device is the latest generation M3 PRO processor. The chipset's performance will be appreciated by IT professionals, gamers, and video editors alike. 

Performance and Technical Specifications

The processor is based on 3-nanometer technology, meaning the main chipset is highly efficient and fast. It operates on 12 cores, and the graphics chipset on 18 cores, meaning the focus is on handling graphics, including 3D, video, and audio processing. Compared to the M2 PRO, the newer processor operates up to 20% faster, and compared to the M1 PRO, it's up to 40% faster.

The device supports up to 36 GB of RAM, and the base configuration comes with 18 GB of RAM. It features an external storage of 512 GB, with the option to choose a size up to 4 TB.

Display and Design

Like previous versions of PRO 16, the 2023 model does not differ externally from its predecessors. However, there is one change - a model in "Space Black" or "Cosmic Black" color has appeared.

The display remains unsurpassed with Super Retina XDR technology, as well as a resolution of 3456x22344. The maximum brightness is 1600 nits. The display surface has an anti-reflective coating.

Peripherals

The laptop is equipped with 3 Thunderbolt 3 ports, for example, the M3 model has only 2. Additionally, the laptop has an HDMI port, headphone jack, and MagSafe 3.
