Apple MacBook Air 15 Late 2023 M2 laptop - deals availability now

Apple positions the Air series products as a lighter version of the Pro. However, this does not mean that the laptop is inferior; in fact, it is a device with a perfect "price=quality" ratio.

Technical and Design Specifications

The laptop features a 15-inch diagonal. Such devices are more often used for home use rather than as a mobile gadget that is always at hand. Although 1.51 kg is not such a heavy weight. However, the dimensions of the device are still impressive – 34.04x23.76x1.15 cm.

Traditionally, the side panels feature ports. On the left side, there's MagSafe 3 and two USB-C 4.0 ports, along with an audio jack.

The laptop is equipped with an M2 processor with 8 computational and 10 graphical cores, with 16 cores for the neural processor. The device handles video editing programs easily, not to mention web surfing and office applications.

RAM ranges from 8 GB to 24 GB, with expandable options. Internal storage is 256 GB, also expandable.

The battery is 66.5 Wh, allowing the device to work without charging for up to 18 hours. And the best part is that the decrease in charge level does not affect the performance and brightness of the screen. The package includes a 35 W power adapter.

The keyboard remains the same as the old version. As practice has shown, it is close to perfection, so there is no need to change anything. The keyboard is perfect for touch typing. The separate key with the fingerprint scanner has been retained. The touchpad has become slightly larger, while the keyboard itself has barely moved up.

It's nice that the camera resolution has been increased to 1080 pixels, compared to the predecessor, which had only 720.

Display and Speakers

The Air 15 screen has a resolution of 2880 x 1864 pixels and a brightness of 550 nits, with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. There will be no problems with brightness and picture contrast, even if the user is outdoors under bright sunlight. The viewing angle is wide, and there is virtually no glare.

The speakers have been updated. Now there are 6 of them, instead of 4 like the predecessor. The sound has become significantly better than the junior version, cleaner. The system now supports technology that allows you to enjoy three-dimensional sound when watching videos.
