Differences Apple from the other ?
As of 2025, 11 Apple Watch series have already been released. In addition to the main lineup, the manufacturer offers a budget version of smartwatches under the SE abbreviation, as well as the Apple Watch ULTRA line designed for outdoor activities and athletes.
Naturally, each new generation has received improvements. In addition, almost every series includes models made of stainless steel (Steel) and aluminum (Aluminium). It is difficult to say which version is better overall, as it largely comes down to personal preference. Aluminum models are lighter and more affordable, and they still look attractive, although they are not as durable as steel ones. Steel models look more premium, are heavier, and are significantly more durable than aluminum.
What 2025 Will Be Remembered For
The main release of the autumn presentation was the Apple Watch Series 11. Despite the fact that the design has hardly changed compared to its predecessor (Series 10), the new model has become thinner. The display has also become larger. The case sizes remain standard: 42 and 46 mm.
Innovative solutions:
improved protective glass that is more resistant to scratches; according to the manufacturer, it is twice as strong as the previous version;
the new model received a 5G module, whereas previous versions worked only on 4G networks;
the battery can now last up to 24 hours with active use, compared to 18 hours in the previous generation;
the sleep duration and quality tracking function has been improved; the sensor now takes into account more parameters, includes automatic apnea detection, and displays information about sleep stages, their duration, along with explanations of factors affecting sleep quality;
the watch received a blood pressure sensor: initially it monitors the user’s blood pressure over 30 days, and later, if pressure increases compared to the collected data, the watch issues a corresponding notification.
When it comes to the blood pressure sensor, it is clear that this is not a medical tonometer, but it still allows users to respond to deviations in a timely manner.
Key Changes and Similarities
Compared to the previous version (Series 10), the peak brightness of the new model has been increased by 1,000 nits and now reaches 3,000 nits. The protective glass has become stronger: it is now not only Ion-X glass, but also features an additional ceramic coating.
As for the design, the manufacturer decided to continue the philosophy of a thin, bezel-less display introduced in Series 10. The 2025 model is just as thin, but clad in a more durable “armor.”
