In the spring of 2025, Apple quietly introduced the base model of its 11th-generation tablet. On closer inspection, it becomes clear that the device received somewhat underrated attention. This gadget can be confidently called an affordable "ticket" into the Apple ecosystem.
Description
6 GB RAM (DDR5-6400 format);
Flash storage from 128 to 512 GB;
Operating system version 18.
The tablet has a 28.93 Wh (7698 mAh) battery, providing up to 10 hours of autonomy. There is no fast charging, and it takes approximately 2.2 hours to reach 100% charge. The device uses a passive cooling system.
One of the main distinctions of the new model is the increased internal storage capacity, whereas the 10th generation had only 64 or 256 GB options. The primary upgrade is the new central processor. The predecessor used the A14 chip, which means a 20–30% performance boost, both in basic tasks and graphics processing.
The tablet supports the Magic Keyboard Folio.
The device is thin, with a thickness of only 7 mm. Dimensions: 248.6 × 179.5 mm. Weight: 477 grams. Ports include 3 USB, 1 HDMI, headphone jack, fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, and a built-in acoustic system.
Compared to the 10th generation, the design remains unchanged, classic for Apple. The edges are still flat, though slightly thicker for 2025 standards. The body is made of recycled aluminum, shaped for convenience.
All ports remain in the same locations, and accessories from the 10th generation are compatible with the 2025 model. Color options also remain the same: Silver, Yellow, Pink, and Blue.
The LCD display has a resolution of 2360 × 1640 pixels (11 inches). The screen size has slightly increased from the 10th generation, which had 10.9 inches. The display supports True Tone technology, automatically adapting to the surrounding lighting conditions.
Both rear and front-facing cameras are 12 MP, capable of recording 1080p video. Support for extended dynamic range is retained. The cameras did not receive significant upgrades, except for the Smart HDR version, which is now 4, slightly improving photo quality.
The iPad 11 released in 2025 is an ideal choice for anyone trying Apple products for the first time. It is suitable for students and people with a mobile lifestyle.
