The brightness of the display of the new product is maximally increased and reaches 2000 nits. Also, a brightness reduction function has appeared, for example, at night you can set the minimum value - 1 nit. Such a function was not available on the S8.

But the watch received new straps, or rather, they refused leather ones, and now they are made of materials that do not harm the planet. For example, the Sport Loop sports strap is made from carbon-neutral material. Instead of leather variations, the manufacturer offered the Fine Woven strap, made from 68% recycled materials. 

Technical Specifications

Smartwatches have received a new processor - S9, which has increased the number of transistors by 60% compared to its predecessor. Therefore, the S8 version is "weaker" than the 2023 model. The updated chipset operates on a 4-core engine. 

The "Double Tap" function has appeared in the new product, so it is enough to touch with 2 fingers to control the functions. The watch received a new Ultra Wideband 2 chip, which makes it much easier to find your iPhone.

Even the Siri chip has been updated, making it much easier to track your health status. Plus, the Neural Engine chip has appeared, which means that the voice assistant will respond to commands even without an internet connection, that is, to get the necessary information regardless of location.

The device also received a new version of the OS - watchOS 10, with an updated display and a variety of new widgets for the dial. 

Smartwatches have retained all the familiar functions: calendar, clock, depth gauge, heart rate monitor, temperature measurement function, altimeter, talk mode, and much more.

Battery at 308 mAh, so the charge lasts approximately 18 hours. If the watch is in power-saving mode, then for as long as 36 hours. They charge fast enough, literally in 30-35 minutes, the watch can be charged to 100% if connected to a 20W charger.
