Differences Apple from the previous model?
Many Apple devices now support two SIM cards, while some have no physical SIM slot, like the iPhone 15 Plus ESIM, which is a built-in module connecting the phone to the mobile operator without a physical card, offering several advantages: switching operators is faster and easier without needing a physical SIM or visiting a store, and ESIM better protects user data, as it cannot be removed if the phone is lost or stolen, making it easier for authorities to track.
Screen and Design
The main upgrade of the 15+ compared to the 15 is the 0.6-inch larger display, now a true 6.7-inch screen. Resolution also improved from 1179 x 2556 to 1290 x 2796 pixels, with 60 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 2000 nits unchanged. Screen-to-body ratio increased to 88% compared to 86.4% on the 15. Instead of a notch, the phone has a multifunctional Dynamic Island, allowing users to view messages and answer calls while listening to music or watching a movie.
Performance and Battery
Both phones share the A16 chipset, 6 GB LPDDR5 RAM, and storage options from 128 GB to 512 GB. Battery capacity increased to 4383 mAh from 3349 mAh, with wired charging at 20 W, wireless at 7.5 W, and reverse charging. Apple guarantees up to 14:47 hours web browsing (vs 12:40 on 14+), 21:01 hours video playback (17:14), and 125 hours standby (122). The phone also features a universal USB-C port.
Camera
The main and front cameras remain unchanged from the 15 model, with the main camera at 48 MP. Camera sensors offer 3x optical zoom, significantly improving photo and video quality, even in low light. The 15+ can be called a reliable base phone with a large screen and all functions for comfortable use.
