Design

The new model stands out noticeably from other models in the series. This smartphone features a completely flat back, with no protrusions. The cameras are arranged in a large round block with a gold metal frame. The body is made of metal, while the back is covered with innovative third-generation nano-leather, which looks and feels like genuine leather but is more durable. The support for Display Port deserves special mention, allowing for fast and high-quality image transmission to external monitors with a high refresh rate.

Display

Each of the presented models is equipped with the same 2K AMOLED displays, ensuring excellent content display. The resolution of the screens is 1440 x 3200 pixels, providing a pixel density of 552 ppi. This delivers sharp and bright images, significantly enhancing video viewing and gaming experiences. The peak brightness of the screens remains the same, but different protective coatings are used — Xiaomi Longjing Glass. The strength of this gadget is demonstrated in videos where the Xiaomi 14 Pro is used as a hammer to drive nails into wood without cracking the screen. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision have a significant impact on color reproduction quality, greatly improving the image on the screen. They provide a wider range of brightness and contrast, allowing for richer and deeper colors.

Specifications

Both versions of the smartphones are equipped with the modern Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which is 30% more powerful than its predecessor. This processor ranks second on the list of the most powerful mobile processors on the market. Combined with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the Ultra model delivers impressive speed.

The device's graphical power is provided by the Adreno 750 GPU. With such powerful hardware, the device shows impressive performance when running demanding applications and easily handles modern 3D games at maximum graphics settings.

The 512 GB internal storage provides ample space for storing a significant number of photos, videos, movies, and music, allowing the user to go a long time without worrying about running out of space.

The updated phone model includes a 5000 mAh battery, supporting fast charging: 90W when connected by cable and 50W for wireless charging. This means the device can quickly recharge, with a full charge from 0 to 100% taking just about 38–40 minutes.

Camera

On the back of the device is a set of four cameras, each with a resolution of 50 megapixels. Among them are the main camera with a focal length of 23 mm, a telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle camera. In addition, the Ultra smartphone is equipped with a 50 MP periscope lens with an f/2.5 aperture, providing excellent image quality in various lighting conditions.

Portrait and selfie shots on the Ultra version are free of the flaws noted in the Xiaomi 14. They come out bright, detailed, and expressive, similar to photos from the main camera.

The device can record video at a maximum resolution of 8K at 24 fps and also offers a 4K mode at 120 fps. The front camera has a 32 MP sensor and is capable of recording 4K video at 60 fps.
