Differences Xiaomi Xiaomi Mi 15 Pro from the previous model?
The Mi 15 smartphone series was presented by Xiaomi in March 2025. Traditionally, the Pro version landed in the middle, featuring a large screen, top-notch processor, and an excellent camera set.
Specifications
Basic specs:
- 3-nanometer Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite;
- 12 or 16 GB of RAM;
- flash storage from 256 GB to 1 TB;
- HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.
The hardware specs are the same as the base Mi 15 version. Compared to the previous series, performance has increased by 40%, while energy consumption has decreased by the same amount. Ray tracing is also supported.
The battery has the highest capacity in the entire series – a full 6100 mAh, even compared to the Ultra. Everything else remains the same and top-notch: 90W wired charging, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Overall, the battery lasts for 2 days of active use.
The updated OS compared to the previous version now supports AI functions, allowing speech translation, voice commands, and recognition of neural network-processed videos.
Although the second speaker serves as a call speaker, the sound has true stereo effect, especially noticeable at volumes above 80%.
Display and Design
The device features a huge 6.73-inch OLED LTPO display with a resolution of 1440 × 3200 pixels. The aspect ratio is 20:9 with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Brightness is extremely high – 3200 nits. At night, the display emits a gentle glow that doesn’t strain the eyes. The screen is covered with Xiaomi's Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0. Water resistance is rated at IP68.
Dimensions are the same as the Ultra version: 161.3 × 75.3 mm with a thickness of 8.4 mm. The weight is lower due to the absence of the extra camera found on the Ultra, weighing 213 grams versus 229 grams.
Color options from the manufacturer: silver, white, black, and green. The design remains the same, with thin bezels and slightly rounded corners, meaning no sharp edges, so the phone fits comfortably in hand despite its large size.
Cameras
The rear camera module consists of:
- 50 MP main wide-angle with f/1.4 aperture;
- 50 MP ultra-wide-angle;
- 50 MP telephoto.
The front camera is 32 MP with f/2.0 aperture.
The Mi 15 Pro is a smartphone with flagship hardware, an excellent camera, and a great display. It is suitable for users of all kinds, both demanding and casual.
