Differences Xiaomi Xiaomi Mi 15 from the previous model?
The March 2025 Xiaomi series introduced the base model Mi 15. Even this model features powerful hardware, an attractive design, and cameras from the leading manufacturer Leica. At a relatively low cost, you get an excellent phone with all the latest technologies, making it a true alternative to the gadgets released this year by Apple and Samsung.
Construction
Main specifications:

Compared to the Mi 14, the phone received a more powerful central processor with performance increased by 44–45%. Currently, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite ranks among the top three mobile chipsets. The device now loads resource-intensive applications much faster and handles AI tasks more efficiently. In addition, the phone has a modern cooling system. The new model also features a cold-resistant mode, allowing effective use at -20°C without rapid battery drain.
The battery capacity is 5400 mAh versus 4610 mAh in the predecessor. Charging power is 90W wired and up to 50W wireless.
Design
In 2025, the manufacturer decided against radical changes in smartphone design. Instead, the focus was on refining the recognizable style. For example, the back glass became even flatter, and the frame around the body is more rounded and thinner, making the device even more comfortable to hold.
Dimensions: 152.3 × 71.2 mm, thickness 8.08 mm. Weight 191 grams. Available colors: silver, white, black, purple, and green. IP68 protection, in-display fingerprint scanner.
Display
The phone features a 6.36-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1200 × 2670 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, same as its predecessor. However, peak brightness has increased by 200 nits, from 3000 to 3200 nits.
Cameras
The phone has three rear cameras, each 50 MP, same as the predecessor. The only difference is that the telephoto lens focal length changed from 75 mm to 60 mm. Optical zoom is now 2.6x instead of 3.3x. Although these changes seem minor, the cameras now shoot better. Additionally, thanks to the new processor, AI-assisted image processing has improved. The manufacturer also resolved issues with oversaturated reds, reduced glare and noise, and significantly improved dynamic range.
The front camera is 32 MP with a 22 mm focal length. It features digital stabilization, resulting in higher-quality shots without significant blurring of fine details.
