In mid-2024, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 6 to users. The smartphone received a more durable design, an upgraded processor, and enhanced features, including AI.

Display and Design
Main Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 7.6 inches, resolution 2160 x 1856, 120 Hz refresh rate. Secondary Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 6.3 inches, resolution 2376 x 968, 1-120 Hz refresh rate. The outer display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Maximum brightness reaches 2600 nits, ensuring excellent readability even in bright light.
Color options: blue, gray, and pink.
The smartphone has matte, flat edges and straight corners. At the top: microphone, speaker. At the bottom: another speaker, USB Type-C charging port. On the right side: SIM card slot, volume buttons, and power button. Face unlock is supported.
Cameras
Main camera module includes:
- 50 MP main camera;
- 12 MP ultra-wide camera;
- 10 MP telephoto camera.
Front cameras: 10 MP outer, 4 MP inner.
Main camera supports video recording up to 8K at 30 fps.
Overall, cameras have not changed compared to the 5th version.
Galaxy AI
Like most new Samsung devices, the smartphone received AI improvements. You no longer need to manually search for objects—simply highlight the item on screen and send it to the search engine. A note assistant automatically checks spelling and punctuation. Audio files can be converted into text automatically. There is also an image generation feature from sketches. Additionally, real-time translation can be enabled during phone calls, with a similar function available for typed text.
