Last year, Samsung released the fifth generation of its foldable smartphones, among which the Galaxy Z Flip 5 retained its familiar compact clamshell design but received an improved and larger external screen. Specifications

One of the key features of the Galaxy Z Flip5 is its improved technical specifications. Although both the Z Flip5 and its predecessor, the Z Flip4, are equipped with 8 GB of RAM, the new model stands out with an increased internal storage capacity of 256 GB, while the Z Flip4 had only 128 GB. Additionally, the Z Flip5 uses the more modern and faster UFS 4.0 storage, while the Z Flip4 is limited to UFS 3.1.

In terms of processors, the Z Flip5 also takes the lead with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm, as opposed to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 found in the Z Flip4. This contributes to faster performance and better app responsiveness on the new device.

As for the battery, both phones are equipped with a 3700 mAh battery and support the same charging: 25W wired, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. However, thanks to the larger and more functional external screen of the Z Flip5, users may find that their phone holds a charge longer. The new smartphone retains the cameras found in the previous model.
