Differences Apple from the previous model?
The iPhone 15 Plus (HK/CN) version features modern DUAL SIM technology, allowing even devoted iPhone users to use two numbers on one phone, with two physical SIM card slots.
Design and Display
Both the 15+ and 14+ models have 6.7-inch Super Retina displays with XDR dynamic range, providing deep blacks and bright highlights. The sizes of both models remain the same, but the "notch" is replaced by a Dynamic Island, offering both aesthetic improvement and easier interaction with the phone environment.
The display underwent interesting changes, with brightness increased to 2000 nits compared to 1600 nits in the predecessor. While the 14+ was already bright, the 15+ offers significantly better visibility in bright light.
The body is fully matte, minimizing fingerprints and scratches. Rounded edges make the frame appear thinner. The 15+ comes in five colors: blue, yellow, green, black, and pink.
Performance
The 2023 model received a powerful, high-performance A16 processor replacing the A15. Despite having the same 6 cores, the chipset's speed and energy efficiency have increased dramatically, making it a true flagship capable of handling multitasking efficiently.
Camera
The 15+ main camera has significant upgrades, now with a 48 MP sensor instead of 12 MP, greatly expanding optical zoom options. The larger sensor allows for highly detailed photos, supports next-generation portrait modes and Smart HDR5, and offers RAW professional format shooting. The front camera remains unchanged, same as 14 Plus.
Finally, Apple has started transitioning to USB-C ports, making its smartphones more versatile. Data transfer speed is limited to 480 MB/s since it’s a 3.0 port, and interestingly, the port color matches the phone’s body.
