Differences Apple MacBook Pro 16 Late 2023 (Pro 16 - M2 Pro) from the other MacBook?
The first MacBook PRO 16 was released in 2021. In 2023, the manufacturer introduced an upgraded model. Design changes did not affect the model, you could say it is not different from the 2021 version, except for minimal changes. But, the hardware, technical specifications pleasantly surprised users with their improvement and increased power.
Technical Specifications
The laptop received one of the most advanced and competitive processors, the M2 PRO. The chipset operates on 12 cores, 8 of which are high-performance, the rest are energy-efficient. It operates at a frequency of 4.2 GHz. This means that almost instant execution of tasks is guaranteed.
The chipset received an integrated 19-Core graphics accelerator, supporting Dolby Atmos, HDR10.
The MacBook has a whopping 16GB on board. This means that there will be enough RAM for several more years. At the same time, the amount of RAM ensures uninterrupted simultaneous operation with multiple applications. At the same time, memory power consumption is minimal.
The built-in storage is designed for 1 TB and operates on SSD technology, with high-speed data read and write.
Display and Multimedia
The 16-inch mini-LED screen has a stunning resolution of 3452x2234 pixels. The display brightness is 1000 cd/m2, peaking at 1600. Thanks to Liquid Retina XDR technology support, the screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a contrast ratio of 1000000:1. This means that the image is extremely clear and smooth.
The audio system features 6 Hi-Fi speakers, with Dolby Atmos technology support and a built-in microphone with effective noise cancellation. The microphone supports Siri operation, meaning you can control music, apps, search for files, work on social networks, and more using your voice.
Autonomy and Comfort
The MacBook has a 100 Wh battery, providing about 22 hours of video playback without recharging. The laptop supports fast charging, allowing the device to be charged 50% in half an hour. A 140W adapter with a magnetic MagSafe 3 connector is included.
The device has all the necessary ports for comfortable work: USB4, with Thunderbolt 4 support, Alternate Mode (video signal transmission). The laptop allows simultaneous connection of 3 external displays, which operate at 6K resolution.
It can be confidently stated that the upgrade was successful, and the model turned out to be powerful, efficient, and autonomous. Moreover, it comes with ample memory, an excellent multimedia system, and a splendid screen resolution.
