Differences Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra from the previous model?

The flagship model in the S lineup is the ULTRA. This year, the 24th version has already appeared, which is almost indistinguishable from the 23rd model externally, but with numerous improvements internally. To manufacture the updated smartphone, the manufacturer used a titanium alloy instead of aluminum, and the latest protective glass. In addition to this, the phone received a powerful processor and a periscopic lens for the camera module.

Technical Specifications

The smartphone features the latest third version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen and 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, compared to the predecessor's 8 GB. Storage options range from 256 GB to 1 TB, without a memory card slot. The Adreno 740 chipset is responsible for graphics quality. As artificial tests show, the main processor has become 32% more efficient compared to the 2nd version, and the performance speed has increased by 16%.

Artificial Intelligence

The entire S24 lineup has received the latest artificial intelligence, which is a key difference from the S23 lineup and other predecessors. Thanks to AI, the phone has gained several key functions:

instant voice translation;
instant translation of text messages;
object search by tracing it on the screen with a stylus or finger;
simplifying the photo editing process;
automatic summary creation, a convenient feature for those who like to capture their thoughts.

AI improvements have also affected the quality of photography.

Cameras

The new model has the following camera setup:

200 MP wide-angle;
12 MP ultra-wide;
50 MP telephoto lens;
10 MP additional.

The predecessor had only a 12 MP telephoto lens.

Thanks to the implementation of the ProVisual AI Engine, capturing and editing has become much easier. Particularly, this has affected shooting in low light conditions, reducing noise significantly, and color reproduction has increased several times.

The AI Correcting Suggestions feature allows you to remove glare, unwanted objects, and imperfections based on the pre-installed application from Samsung. The application also allows you to enlarge the size of the desired object without losing the quality of the entire image. Easily transfer desired objects to a new background.

Display

The model's diagonal is the same as its predecessor - 6.8 inches. The novelty has received an absolutely flat touch panel. The screen technology is LTPO AMOLED 2X, just like its predecessor. However, the resolution has improved - 1440x3120 pixels, and the brightness has also increased to 2600 nits compared to 1750 nits.

Also noteworthy is the introduction of an anti-reflective coating on the display, which makes it much easier to use the phone in bright natural light.
