Technical Specifications

If the M1 chipset of 2020 caused a real sensation, then the M2 processor, which the AIR 13 LATE 2022 significantly expanded the capabilities of the updated device. The processor's speed is 1.4 times higher than that of the M1. 

The new chipset has 25% more transistors than its predecessor. The processor supports Turbo Boost, which increases the clock speed by approximately 6%. It operates on 4 energy-efficient and 4 high-performance cores.

The throughput of the M2 is about 100 GB/s. The RAM is 8 GB, expandable up to 24 GB. In addition, it features LPDDR5 RAM, which operates 50% faster than the previous version 4.

Display

The laptop features a 13.6-inch Retina display with innovative LED backlighting. Impressive screen resolution - 2560x1600, with a pixel density of 227 ppi. The display supports a wide P3 color gamut, displaying 1 billion colors. This ensures that any image will be saturated, deep, and highly detailed. Thanks to narrow bezels, the screen appears even larger. The camera is tucked into a neat "notch".

The laptop features a Magic Keyboard with a fingerprint sensor - Touch ID on the top functional panel. The scanner also allows for instant access to apps, making payments, and confirming actions.
