Honor has introduced the Honor 80 Pro smartphone.
The top-tier Honor 80 Pro features a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2700×1224 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and support for 10-bit color. The device is equipped with a dual front camera consisting of a 50MP sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera can record 4K video at 30 frames per second.
The Honor 80 Pro is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, with slightly adjusted specifications. Its most powerful Cortex-X2 core operates at 3.0 GHz instead of the manufacturer's stated 3.2 GHz. Three Cortex-A710 cores run at 2.5 GHz instead of the standard 2.75 GHz. Four power-efficient Cortex-A510 cores, in turn, operate at the standard 1.8 GHz.
The Honor 80 Pro features a triple rear camera setup. The main sensor is a 160MP sensor with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size, an f/1.8 aperture, and the ability to combine 16 pixels (4x4 square) into one with a size of 0.75μm. In addition to the main sensor, the Honor 80 Pro has a 50MP sensor with an f/2.0 lens for wide-angle shots (122-degree field of view) and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).
The cameras can capture 4K video at 30 frames per second. Honor uses an updated Image Engine AI technology with a more efficient image processing system and advanced AI RAW algorithms. It also boasts an updated AI Vlog mode with an expanded range of settings for on-the-go streaming.
The Honor 80 Pro runs on MagicOS 7 based on Android 12. The smartphone is equipped with a 4800mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. The device will be available in black, green, blue, and pink colors.
