Some iPhone models are equipped with DUAL SIM technology, specifically the iPhone 14 Plus (HK/CN) version. The advantage of the phone is that you can connect 2 numbers. Otherwise, the phone has received several interesting improvements, which distinguish it favorably from the 14 version.
The smartphone received a 6-core A15 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The flash drive is available in 128, 256, or 512 GB options.
The battery has a decent capacity of 4325 mAh, which is 1046 mAh more than the 14 model. Accordingly, the battery life has increased from 35:56 hours to 39:08 hours, i.e., by 9%. Now you can watch videos on the phone for a whole 16 hours. The phone supports MagSafe, so wireless charging is possible.
The display received an impressive size of 6.7 inches, while the 14 version has only 6.1 inches. Due to the screen size and thin bezels, the manufacturer managed to increase the screen-to-body ratio to 87.4%. The previous version had a ratio of only 86%. The resolution has been increased to 1284x2778 pixels compared to 1170x2532 pixels in the predecessor. The maximum brightness remained at the same level and is 1200 nits.
The color scheme has hardly changed, with the 14+ model lacking the white color, but otherwise everything is the same as its predecessor: black, purple, yellow, red, and blue.
It was pleasantly surprising to see the display response time reduced to 5 ms compared to the 14 model, which had a response time of 12 ms.
Due to the increased size, the weight of the device reached 203 grams, whereas the 14 version weighs only 172 grams. However, this is not noticeable when the phone is in hand, as it is a matter of grams.
Cameras
There are no significant differences between the iPhone 14 and 14+ in terms of cameras. The main sensor is 12 MP, with 2x optical zoom and up to 5x digital zoom. The ultra-wide-angle camera is also 12 MP, with a 120-degree field of view. There is one difference, however. The 14+ model received an updated main sensor with an aperture of f/1.5 and 1.9 µm. This means that the camera lets in 49% more light than its predecessor's sensor. Consequently, the clarity, brightness, and detail are at a higher level.
A new video shooting mode has appeared, allowing for recording without artifacts and shaking.
Overall, the phone is excellent and will appeal to those who love large displays and take a lot of videos and photos. The smartphone fits comfortably in the hand and does not slip. In addition, the gadget supports 5G.
